Vicky & Dan, August 24, 2007

reserved?...too bad!

I was sooooooooooo excited to photograph this wedding. Vicky is my hair stylist at the fabulous "Studio One Thirty One" in Waterloo and we've been talking wedding plans for the past year. She's fun, picked a great guy and has a heart of gold...not to mention she's gorgeous!!! (my husband says she looks like a country music star).

Dan was a bit unusually quiet until he said "I do" but then we got the guys into it as much as the was a fun fun day and Sarah and I were so honoured to be a part of it!!!!

Kirsten & Ryan, August 25, 2007

Despite busy schedules, malfunctioning email accounts and crazy weather...this couple managed to say "I do" amidst the crack of thunder on a very wet Saturday afternoon. No dampened spirits, however, for our fiery redheaded bride and her handsome groom.

Eric & Natalie, August 18, 2007

Seriously ladies, thank goodness you looked so good because you sing as bad as me!!!! When the girls weren't singing and the guys weren't posing in their kilts, the bride and groom were high-fiving each other during the signing of the registry. I say over and over that you can tell a lot about people by the people they choose to hang out with (i.e. their wedding party) and this was a great group of people. Congratulations Natalie and Eric, have fun on your surprise honeymoon!!!

(forgive me, I can't stop playing with textures, I love making the images look weathered...)

Lisa & Brian, August 11, 2007

Photographing Lisa and Brian's wedding was like hanging out with old friends all day. The first thing Lisa said to me when I walked into her hotel room that morning was "eat...there are sandwiches over there"...must be the Italian hospitality.

The day was sweet and loving from the socks Brian send over before the wedding in case Lisa got cold feet to the tears Lisa shed saying good bye to her grandpa that night. Thank you Lisa and Brian, we went home with our hearts light and our tummys full!

Alicia & Brian, August 10, 2007

Perfect weather, perfect venue, perfect for each other!

Brian and Alicia seemed to float effortlessly through their day as they turned a blind eye to the sweltering heat from the week before and the downpour of the rain the day before and swore their love to each other under the blue sky in the beautiful University of Guelph Arboretum. A light breeze kept us cool and smiles reigned the day as we strolled and celebrated and photographed and laughed....
